The children were surprised to find out that all our Christmas traditions come from the Victorians. They also watched a a video showing a typical Victorian Christmas, noticing the differences and similarities between then and now. LO: I can plan and draw my landscape design

Year 5 re-looked at all the landscape paintings they have come across so far. They then started to think about what type of landscape they’d like to paint, taking into consideration how artists use perspective, colours and styles of painting that they liked. They completed a grid to organise their ideas before drawing out their landscape on A3 paper.
